Plymouth Barracuda 1970 Description

This is a real BS27H 340 Cuda Convertible, not a 318 car cloned into one. They only made 262 real ones. This car looks like it had a rotisserie restoration back maybe 15-20 years ago. The underside was painted with the car. It is still a real nice driver now. The restoration is showing its age with some small chips and bubbles here and there, but it is still way above average. All the numbers on the radiator support, cowl and fender tag match the VIN# on the dash and I have the original build sheet. It is not the original engine though. The car does have some neat options including power steering, power drum brakes, rallye gauges, rubber front bumper (A21) and a rare factory cruise control, which I believe still works. The color codes out to Burnt Orange, but it looks a little darker to me. The interior is nice with only some scrapes to the driver's door panel. The top and rear window both have some splits, but it doesn't justify replacing them. I have a new set of convertible chrome moldings for the top of the quarters. There are 15" rallys on the rear and 14's on the front. The power top works excellent. Overall this is an excellent real 340 Cuda Convertible that does not need a restoration. It runs and drives excellent and can be enjoyed immediately.
