Plymouth Fury 1966 Description

Hello, y name is Annie, am a 1966 Plymouth Fury III - my mom had owned me since Labor Day 2010.
Before I came to live in Syracuse I lived in Carlisle PA for 10 years, nd prior to that I lived in North Carolina.
My memory isn't as good as it used to be, y mom told me of my origins because she looked at the "previous title" section of the PA title before I came here and ended up with a "transferable registration" silly NY, ll cars born prior to 1973 get transferable registrations instead of titles. No worries my title is clean, o accidents etc...
My heart is a 318 V-8 engine, am an automatic with a 3-spd Tourqueflight transmission, nd I love cruising US highways. Mommy doesn't like to drive like a bat out of hell when she's driving me. I've been to Atlanta, here I won the prize at the car show for "Best Car" and I've been to Nashville, here I was awarded "Most Original Car." I've also been all the way out to Indianapolis, ut no prizes that time for me!
I recently had the chance to run around the "Moody Mile" at the NYS Fairgrounds before it will be torn down along with the giant grandstands, ad to see it go...
I have brand new "shoes" (aka tires) that have less than 2500 miles on them, hey have a nice thin whitewall stripe, nd I have all of my fancy hubcaps (mommy keeps them in the trunk and puts them on at our destination for safety, he said nothing is worse than having a hubcap fly off while driving, agree with her.
My brakes are new and modified from the original, used to have drums all around and a single master cylinder, ut a fateful 4th of July in Sylvan Beach when those brakes locked up, y mommy decided safety first and had the SSBC brake conversion which means now I have a dual master cylinder and disk in the front and drums in the rear. Part of that whole conversion also included new Monroe Sensa Trac's shocks all around, nd the rear drums were overhauled by the same mechanic who did the brakes.
I have a very discrete electronic starter on my rotor cap. My uncle overhauled and tuned my engine last year as well as tuned the carburetor so a purr when idling and driving. He also rebuilt the carburetor new choke pull off on carb, eplaced plugs, e-aligned valves, e-mounted exhaust pipe to eliminate rattle, eadjusted rear brakes (drums), nstalled new turn signal can in steering column, epaired horn ring, ightened turn signal switch, eplaced all weather stripping including windows, runk, tc, ew engine and transmission mounts, ew valve cover gaskets, eplaced washer hoses, ew wiper blades...
Must use 10W30 high mileage oil as well as ZDDP oil additive with oil changes.
Solid car, eeds minimal body work (see photos of drivers side rear wheel well) and needs new carpet. Upholstery is perfect on seats and doors.
I need a good home, omeone who will love and care for me as my mommy has. I will give you many years of enjoyment and looking good at car shows!
