Plymouth Satellite 1971 Description

Hello: You arelooking at a 1971 Plymouth Satellite Station Wagon. The car runs and drives good. It has a 225 Slant six engine, utomatic transmission, ower steering and power4 wheel drum brakes. This is a low option car. Vynyl seats, heater that's about it. It is a six passenger wagon. The car has a very neat history behind it. I bought this car in 1997from the daughter and son-in-law of the original owners. They brought the car to Michigan from Florida around 1992. They never drove it in snow. I get the car and I have it for a few years, nd I never ran it in snow. I sold the car in 2001, nd then in 2006 bought it back and gave it to my mother, s she wanted a neat old car to drive around in during the nicer weather months. I have done most of the mechanical work on it since 1997. Mechanically its in pretty good shape. I did a recent tune up onit with good quality parts. At one time Ive replaced the carburetor on it,waterpump, hermostat, uel pump, eater core and power steering pump. I know the guy who owned it from 2001-2006 put some work into it as well. The car startsgood, runs and drives nice, and has plenty of power. Ive had a lot of Slant six engines, nd these pre-emissions ones run very well. The transmission shifts as it should. The brakes stop well, ut the car does pull a bit to the right. I have a feeling that it still has all the factory shoes, prings, ums etc. The car hasabout 79,500ORIGIONAL miles on it. The gauges work but the fuel gauge does not. All the glass is good. Lights all work. Tires have decenttread, ut are weather checked some. The body is still fairly solid, ut is getting rusty and is starting to show its age. It has a dent in the tailgate, he lower rear quarters are rusting and the lower front fenders are getting rusty. Spare tire compartment is nice. paint is fading. The interior does need some work. The dash pad is cracked, ndone of the door panels is off. The headliner is sagging in some spots. Theplastic dashhas a holecut out where somebody put in aradio. This is not a perfect show car by any means. It would make a nice driver, nd its somethingthat you would not be afraid to drive. It would make a good family cruiser for the nice weather, r a swap meet buggy or even take it and build a drag car out of it. I am selling this for my mother and step-dad. The car is located in Marlette, i. 48453, n hour and a half north of Detroit. If you have mechanical questions, end me a message, utfor questions about payment and pick-up arrangements, all mystepdad Mike at 810-404-1545. DO NOT TEXT! Car must be paid for in full upon pickup.Winning bidder has until November 15 2015 to pay for and get the car, therwisecar goes back for sale. I reserve the right to end the auctionearly if there are nobids on the car as car is listed locally for sale. All in all this would make somebody a nice ride. These unrestored Mopars are getting very hard to find and even tho the car does need some work, here is a lot there to work with. Thanks for looking, lease see my other auction. No sales outside the USA please. God Bless.
