Plymouth Barracuda 1974 Description

Nice driver quality REAL numbers matching 'Cuda. This was the last year for the 'Cuda and the 360 4bbl was the largest engine you could get in it. Body is pretty straight but there is some rust at the bottom of both quarter panels. Front valence has a small dent in it. Runs and drives fine but I think it may have a burned valve in one of the heads. Could be something simple though. I have not really investigated it yet.

Car has a couple oil leaks butis to be expected with 154000 miles on it.

Has 15" police wheels on it now but also comes with the original 14" Road Wheels in very nice shape and they have very nice Goodyear tires on them. The last photo shows the Road Wheels on the car before I switched them over.

New carpet and seat covers. Headliner has a couple tears but it's not terrible. Floors have a couple patches from over the years but they seemed to do a decent job with those. Trunk floor is in good shape with only a small amount of surface rust.

Has original Goodyear Polyglas spare wheel/tire along with the original jack assembly.

This is a NON-A/C car

I have the fender tags and broadcast sheet. Also have original window sticker.

Car currently has aftermarket stereo in it but I have the original AM radio to go with it. Has rear speaker option and there used to be a fader knob on the dash. Part of that fader knobis missing and the rest is still hanging behind the dash.

Dash has a couple cracks in it.

Has rally dash with tach and clock. Tach works fine and clock works some of the time but mostly not.

Gas gauge is new but still does not read anything. I have a new pickup assembly but it has not yet been installed.

Seats have been recovered and carpet is new. Driver's door panel needs replacing. All other door panels in great shape.
Has power brakes with front discs and 10" rear drums.

Black vinyl top is in super shape except a couple spots below the rear window where some of it has peeled back. I do not see any rust there though. This could be repaired. I just never got around to it.

Go Wing is an add-on and is an OEM wing and not aftermarket.

Color is the original Frosty Green metallic paint and is dull. Paint seems in decent shape but just doesn't shine anymore. There are several spots that had chips that have been repaired. Looks original to me but I have been told it may have had a repaint many years ago.

Presently has an Edelbrock 750 carb on it but I also have the original Thermoquad which was pulled off due to a cracked plastic body.

New alternator, CU, oltage Regulator, asher Bottle Motor, orrect 3 row 26" radiator, ap and rotor, lus more new parts.

Factory style dual exhaust which has only resonators and no mufflers. Sounds great.

Factory Tinted Glass

8 3/4 rear with 3:23 open gears

All chrome trim in great shape

There is some rust on the rear wheel lips right above the molding. Looks like an easy fix.

Has new AMD rear bumper. Front bumper in good shape but has some pitting

Cigar Lighter works as do the wipers and all the lights and signals.

Has Pistol Grip shifter handle although I don't believe it is original.

As you can see in my description, t is not perfect but most of the things wrong with it are minor in nature. The car has been garage kept all it's life and is really in great shape considering it's age. What I like best about the car is that it can be driven as it iswithout having to be restored and/or fixed up if the potential buyer wanted. Most of these types of cars for sale either need everything done or they are already restored and are selling for a whole lot more than mine. Please keep this in mind if you are considering the car.
I have a flatbed and may be able to help deliver it within a reasonable distance from my home for a small fee. I would have to have full payment first and could go a couple hundred miles but I will not go too far.
I said I was not going to relist but figured I would give it one more try. I really like the car but I have a hard time working on it due to a bad back.
