Pontiac Ventura 1974 Description
1974 Pontiac Ventura Sprint Custom Barn Find 100% complete Original Paint Sprint Package 350 V8 engine option 2 Barrel Carb (I have a nice used Edlebrock intake and 4 bbl carb that will go with the car.) Saginaw 4 Speed Manual Transmission Handling package with front and rear sway bars and heavy duty shocks. Matching #'s on all of the drivetrain. Engine runs great, clutch feels good, Trans shifts very well, the engine may have a slight head gasket leak on one bank. Drum brakes on all four corners. brake system has been replaced, all wheel cylinders, master, seals, hardware. Car does not leak anything. US Mag u111 wheels 18x8 in the front with 245-40-18 tires 18x9 in the back with 285-35-18 tires, Tires are mock up tires to check for clearance, the fronts are good but the 285's rubbed in the rear, I would recommend 275's unless you trim the rear quarters or roll them. The drivers and passenger front foot pans need to be replaced rusted from inside under the carpet, the quarters at the bottom rear corner of the wheel opening has a very small amount of rust. (remember its a original paint car, nothings hidden!!) other than that the car is rust free. There is a small primer spot over the drivers rear wheel opening, the sheet metal there is all solid, like some parking lot repair job was done on a small dent, which made it look worse! And the bottom of the drivers door has a hand sized dent but is repairable without replacing the door. Interior is all there but is needing to be replaced. Bumpers and trim are all cherry. Current reg and clear title in my name. I would love to keep it and go the LS route but I'm closing escrow on a new house the end of October and this one has to go.
