Pontiac GTO 1970 Description

THE ITEM IN THIS LISTING IS :
1970 Pontiac GTO project car.Needs a full restoration but is a nice soilid car to start with. I got this car from a guy who took it totally apart in 1996 thinking he was going to do a restoration, ell 20 years later he decided he was not going to get to it. I bolted the car togethor, ut it is loosely bolted togethor. I took pics of the frame so you can see how nice the frame is, he vin number is still visable on the frame. The floors are in very nice shape, nly needeing minor repair. Th passenger side floor needs a small patch right at the seam of the toe board, he driver side needs a little more, ut most can be patched and you would only need the toe board patch. The quarter panels are original, ay be able to save the passenger side but the driver side needs to be replaced. The fenders and hood are rough, ut maybe fixable, hese parts are available new and the quality is very good. The endura is strait but will need to be filled a little, ery usable original endura. The doors are rough, ut this comes with a pair of door shells that are very nice. It has a little bit of rust around the back window, ut repairable.
The interior is missing the front bucket seats, he dash needs to be recovered, he radio opening is uncut and stil has the original radio in place, he back seat is there and is a good core, he door panels are from a 1971 GTO, reen in color, ut they metal panels are there.
The original drivetrain is gone. I does have a 1968 vintage 400 pontiac motor that was rebuilt, nfortunately moisture got into the cylinders and it will need to be rebuilt again. Looks like it is standard bore, o you should be able to bore it 30 overand be fine. The is no transmission, oes come with a bell housing.
The phs documents say this car is Pepper Green/Green Interior/ with a 400 4bbl manual transmission. It does not have many options, ere is the phs sheet :

That is all that came on the car.
I do have a box of parts that come with this including headlight bezels, arking lights, ender side marker lights, eat belts, a bell housing, nd some other misc. parts. Over the years some things went missing such as the front seats, ront wheel well, ome trim, tc. Car is about 95% complete.
It is what it is, he pictures show the condition, ssume everything needs to be worked on or replaced, ut it is fairly complete.

Vin tag has never been tampered with. It has a New York State transferable registration. New york is a non title state for cars made prior to 1973 and therefore we use the transferable registration card to transfer ownership.
