Pontiac Catalina 1962 Description
You are bidding on a 1962 Pontiac Catalina. This is a no reserve auction. If you bid, ou will own it. This car has been extensively restored but not to factory specs. This is a fantastic looking and driving car. Like all cars of its age, t drives like an old car. If you are looking for a real head turner, hat gets lots of attention, his is it!This car has lots of new parts. This includes break master cylinder, heel cylinders, reak shoes, reak hoses, ortions of the break hardware, nd reconditioned break drums. It has a completely rebuilt Turbo 350 transmission with a custom shift kit, ew transmission oil cooler and universal joints. The engine is a Pontiac 350 ci The engine was not rebuilt but also has lots of new parts including a timing chain, ater pump, lternator, tarter, delbrock Performer intake, delbrock 600 cfm carburetor, istributor module, distributorcap and rotor button, oil plug wires, park plug wires and spark plugs, tarter, uel pump, uel filter, ear main seal, ll new hoses, il pan gasket, iming cover gasket, ront crank seal, alve cover gaskets, nd intake gaskets. The valve covers are stainless steel, ff of a 1979 TransAm -- these are hard to come by!The car also has a new fuel tank, uel tank lid, attery, 1/2" aluminized exhaust with Flowmaster knockoff mufflers (sounds great!), nbsp;sealed beam halogen headlights, aillight lenses, indshield seal, ear window seal, runk seal, oof rail seal, oor seals, indow felt, nbsp;door handles, nd front and trunk arrowhead badges. The interior is all custom, ith a new steering wheel, ew carpet, oor panel boards, indow cranks, oor handles, rmrests, nd more! The car has correct 15" steel wheels, ith correct poverty caps. The car has a new trunk floor pan.The car could still needs a few things such as, he bumpers need to be rechromed, he windshield wiper motor is missing, he fuel gauge level is incorrect, he dash lights do not come on (this may be a fuse and I intend to check it this week), ires have good tread but some dry rot, he trunk lid has a small blister in the paint (I will provide a picture however it is hard to tell), he hood has some light sand scratches that can be seen at the right angle but are not too obvious. The windshield has a chip on the passenger side but is small and not noticed at all during driving (coming from a guy who always notices chips). This car has been lowered with front coils cut and rear coils clamped. This has been a labor of love for me and like all project cars it is never really done. This is a very good car forcruising. It is not super fast, ut has plenty of power to have a good time. I am sure that I am missing lots of parts that are new. Thanks for looking. If you have any questions feel free to contact me.
