Pontiac Trans Am 1987 Description
1987 Pontiac Trans Am hardtop with only 13k original miles! Black and Gold smokey and the bandit color scheme. This Trans Am has all the best equipment. It's powered by the L98 5.7 TPI engine with automatic transmission. It's got the auxiliary oil cooler, limited slip rear end, four wheel disk brakes, and the legendary WS6 ride and handling package. On the inside you'll find the top of the line lumbar seats, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, tilt wheel, AM/FM stereo, power hatch release and rear window defroster. Onto the condition details of this beautiful car. The car is in excellent condition. The interior looks and smells new. It has never been smoked in. There are no tears or wear spots on the seats. There are no known stains. Please note: some of the interior photos make the carpet look dark, it's not. The carpets arein excellent condition but the lighting messed with the camera exposure. The dash is in perfect condition. The gauges all work and are crystal clear and glossy. The speakers all work and none are blown. The car mechanically is in excellent condition. The big V8 fires up right away with no smoke. It runs beautifully. The transmission shifts firmly and crisply. The car has no known leaks. The paint on the car is all original except for the hood and the spoiler. This car originally had the hood bird. The original decal had fully dried out, so it was removed and the hood was repainted. I did not re-apply the hood bird in case the new owner preferred it without. The spoiler also had faded so it was repainted at the same time. The remainder of the car is all original paint. The majority of the paint is in excellent condition with the exception of a thin area in the paint on the horizontal surface at the top of the rear quarter panels shown in the pics. The rest of the paint is dark and glossy. The car has never been in an accident, and looks beautiful. It has never had any rust outside or underneath. The car has original Goodyear ZR tires. What does it need? Just a few little things. The air-conditioning will need to be recharged. The power antennae has stopped working. The brake pads are also original and should probably be replaced simply for safety. The car comes with its original title, original window sticker, original build and broadcast sheets, and original manuals. This car is perfect for any collection or to just relive the old days. Inspections are welcome. If you have questions please feel free to call or text Jeff at (262) 672-1874 The car will be sold as-is, as-shown. A $500 deposit through paypal will be required within 48 hours of end of the auction. Payment in full within 7 days by bank transfer unless other arrangements have been agreed on prior to the end of the auction. Thanks for looking and have great day!
