Pontiac Catalina 1951 Description

1951 Pontiac Chieftain
This is a 1951 Pontiac Chieftain. I am helping a friend sell the Pontiac do to a shoulder surgery and not being able to drive it anymore "no power steering." The Pontiac Chieftain is in very good condition for it age. The car is all original except for a newer paint job. The car was originally baby blue. Pontiac is powered by a straight 8 and a 3 speed manual transmission on the tree. Car runs, drives, shifts very nicely. The Pontiac has always been garage kept and very well maintained. The body is straight, glass is all in great condition, no rust or bondo anywhere. Brand new tires, battery, brakes, and shocks. Odometer reads 29379. No idea if speedo rolled or not. Usually I can tell by the car but this Pontiac looks lightly used.
The short story behind the car: The Grandmother bought new off showroom floor. Didn't like driving much and car spent most its life just sitting in her garage. When she passed away she left the Pontiac to her son. The son did the repaint. Unfortunately the son then passed and left the car to his best friend. This is the first time the car has ever been up for sale.
