1969 Pontiac GTO 400 4 Speed Unrestored Original Paint & Interior Car

Pontiac GTO 1969 Description

I purchased this GTO from the original owner3 years ago, t still has it`s numbers matching WT engine, 20 trans.& 3:55 open rear. Car still retains it`sORIGINAL PAINT,INTERIOR, LACK CORDOVA TOP & even the CARPET. Stillhas it`s original hood insulation & trunk mat. Dash pad is excellent.Items replaced; battery, oses, elts, ires, gnition wires, ackage tray & exhaust. Car sat in his garage unused for many years the last NJ inspection sticker on the car is dated 1983. Original owner told me he had a small area on the side of the car touched up at some point due to scratches but he can`t remember where the touch up was done. Car has 62K, tarts right up runs & drives like a new car. Everything works as it should except the clock. Noengine, rans or rear end issues or noises. Clutch is good.Original owner said nomajor repairs were ever done to the drivetrain. Gauges under the dash were there when purchased. He even kept the original shifter ball, C-15 radiator cap and every hose clamp except one. Car was purchased at Cathcart Pontiac in Trenton NJ right off the lot. I have the original window sticker, uild sheet and dealer invoices. Car has all original rust free sheet metal except for the following area`s, ight fender has rust on the bottom behind the wheel, ight quarter panel has rust on the bottom behind the wheel, eft fender is showinga tiny bitofrust on the very bottom behind the front wheel but overall very solidcompared to most 69 GTO`s. Lower rear window long molding is loose.Passenger bucket seat has a seam repair about 3 inches long.Items I installed;

Owner told me the car was on the lot with white wall tires & poverty caps but his wife hated the small ugly hub caps so a deal was struck to swapa set ofred lines tires and full wheel covers off of another GTO on the lot for the poverty caps and white wall tires. I have the dealer paper work reflecting this $30.00 swap. Owner is still around and I`m sure he would talk to the new owner about the car. Prior to 1983 NY State was a non title state so ownership is transferred with a transferrable registration which I have in my name. Car is for sale as is where is.
