1969 PONTIAC FIREBIRD CONVERTIBLE **** 400 WITH 4 SPEED MANUAL ON FLOOR.
Interior is ingreat shape and so is the top. Top works. Engine is 400 with 4BBL Dual exhaust. New shocks and clutch installed within past year. Has some rust ....small hole in trunk and on pass side floor pan. Car is very, very fast with lots of torque. It is also loud and mean.
This car gets looks and grabs everyone's attention whenever you drive it !!!
Don't expect to drive and not be ready to talk about the car or get comments from other drivers. Sad to get rid of it but cannot keep it in garage (Clinton, NJ) any longer. Have no other storage. I don't know about matching numbers. When I had clutch done the mechanic said there were matching numbers, just don't know if engine, transmission or both.
Have driven this car often to Jersey shore and back with no problems whatsoever. It does run better when warmed up. Brakes are not power. That's the one thing I should have done but did not. Definitely a fun car. Please do not bid if you not ready to buy. Car is sold as is, where is with no warranty. I accept cashiers check/bank transferor cash. Will not turn over title until check clears from bank. Title is clear.
