Up for sale is a 1957 Pontiac Convertible project car. This is a Very, Very rare car that was one ofa fewhundredbuilt 57Pontiac ConvertiblesfromCanada.From the factory, these Cars were more1957 Chevrolet convertible than they were a Pontiac. They were built using much of the same parts used to build a Chevy.
I purchased this car in California about 3 years ago with the intentions to convert into a 57 Chevy Convertiblebut do not have the heart to do it. Car has most of the parts to put it back together. Convertible frame and cross memberis in very good condition. Frame and most of the car was media blasted which can be viewed in the photos..Top irons are fair condition and just sitting on the car. Header isinpoor condition. Seats are good usable cores along with the piston covers. This car needs a lot of work, but is much better than most convertibles you will find of this vintage. Trunk area has new replacement floor in place.Hood and front fenderswere removed from this car andare usable parts.Radiator support and inner fenders are also included. Front bumper braceis included.Dash and dash parts are in tote in the trunk. Most side stainless is in a box in the car along with grille and bumper pieces. This caruses many parts from Chevy's andis very similar to 1955, 1956 and 1957 Chevrolet Convertibles.If you do the homework, you will see that this car is a sleeper either for parts, to build/convert to a Chevy or build an ultra rare Pontiac.
