Pontiac Firebird 1969 Description

For sale is the 1969Pontiac Firebird pictured. This car is in need of a complete restoration. The car was originally Matador Red with a black interior. Car is very rusty, andin need of extensive metal work, including but not limited to floor pan, trunk pan, rocker panels, frame rails, firewall, doors, hood,etc. I believe most of the originalparts for the car are included. I am sure you will run across a few missing small parts. The transmission is not installed in the car, but is included likemany of other parts. Also the brakes are non functional, keep this in mind whenarranging transportation. I have never had the car running, but the motorturns, and isNOT locked up.Part of the carb is frozen up, and does not function properly. The interior will need some attention, but is better shape than would be expected for the age of the car.The following are numbers I have from big parts of the car: Engine 0373734 WQ (VIN matches car), Heads 48, Intake GM4, Carb 7028244 A KA, Rear End 9795107. The car doesn't have the correct manifolds on it, it has headers instead. The exhaust has also been cut in half on back, and will be tied up. Out of the numbers listed above I don't believe the carb is original to the car either. The production numbers on this engine, trans combo is a very low 520. I have all of the phs documents on this car. Car will have 4 matching Pontiac rims, like already on the frontof the car.Please look at the pictures of the car and judge condition for yourself.
