Pontiac Other 1939 Description

1939 Pontiac 2 dr. Sedan Series 25 Deluxe Six This is a Original Colorado car. Still in Original condition with only the interior disassembled all parts bagged tagged and boxed. the cloth was removed because in the dry high altitude old cloth turns to dust so its all ready to upholster if you so choose. The Engine is The ORIGINAL flat head straight six and complete from the air cleaner wing nut to the oil pan plug. It still turns over by hand with the plugs out. still has pretty good compression! I don't think it would take too much to get it running some basic wiring and a 6 volt battery and a few pieces of fuel line hose. The body is really straight running boards are strong don't even flex with my big ass standing on them (285 lbs. ) passenger side ft fender needs a little body work and the rear fenders where they bolt to the body has a little rust nothing major or visible on outside of car. The floors and frame are solid with no rust or rot. I have all the working parts to the glass but most of the glass but most of it is cracked the front doors still have the glass in the doors and they roll up and down. Good news is a all new glass kit is less than $400 and all new rubber seals and gaskets for it are available too with different prices for different set ups but about $250-300. I have the bumpers with guards and brackets and center medallions. The steering gear is broken you can turn the steering wheel but it won’t steer the car. There are a lot of steering gears out there because so many people cut the old suspension off and sub frame them and it was in my plans also. I purchased the car to make a street rod but this winter I got hurt at work driving a tow truck and tore up my shoulder. So the car is in the condition the pictures shows. This Car is Listed Locally for sale so I reserve the right to end auction/ad at anytime for any reason. I STRONGLY ADVISE ANY INTERESTED PARTYS TO CALL (402-469-5248) WITH ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BIDDING!!!
