Over the course of 21+ years. we have driven more cars than we can count ranging from sports cars to high performance cars to exotics and everything in between. However. until we received this Fiero GT. it had been years since we had been behind the wheel of a Fiero. Frankly. it brought back wonderful memories of driving this well balanced. mid engined two-seater. The Fiero offered for sale in this listing is not only a "California Native". but has just 56. 87 one owner miles. It is a pleasure to drive and many of the characteristic weaknesses do not exist with this GT. The car has fully functional lighting systems (including the sometimes problematic front hidden headlights). radio and air conditioning (blows cold & strong). Additionally. as a result of the cars low mileage and recent mechanical attention the car runs and drives like an example that is only a few years old. The engine starts immediately whether cold or warm. has a throaty exhaust note and all of the gauges display acceptable readings. Even the clock works! However. there is some minor peeling on the roof at the forward corners of the sunroof that has been touched up with matching paint. Also present is very common peeling above the rear license plate on the flexible rear bumper from a minor scrape (touched up with similar color paint) and minor "crazing" in the flexible nose piece. The black body side moulding has prevented door dings from adjacent parked cars. As from the factory. the Fiero has no stainless or chrome trim whatsoever. All 4 wheels are in nice shape with the honeycomb area black and the surrounding flange silver. There is no curb rash on the wheels. The gray interior is factory original and in unusually nice condition for a 27 year old car. This is. in part. due to the use of seat covers and a dash pad for most of its life coupled with the cars limited exposure to the sun. The storage area aft of the engine appears like new. The engine compartment is very clean and free from grease and dirt. The front compartment is all original including the original spare and s storage bag for the removable roof panel. The underside of the car is not detailed but most important. remains "California clean" and free from rust. The car also does not leak fluids.
