Pontiac GTO 1974 Description

Real 1974 Pontiac GTO (1 of 7058). Functional Ram-Air shaker hood scoop. Rust-free California/Arizona car. Pontiac 350/Turbo 350 automatic. Smooth shifting transmission. California-only ZP-code engine (see photo) and California-only Quadrajet. Matching date-coded HN rally wheels. New BF Goodrich Radial T/A tires. Buckets seats with floor shift and console including console gauges with in-dash tachometer. Factory A/C (non-functioning but complete). Sport steering wheel. Dual exhaust with chrome splitters great sound. PHS documentation. Even has the factory AM/FM radio. One repaint (by previous owner) not quite the original color (was Denver Gold). White interior in great condition. Car is not perfect but runs great and looks good. Not a show car it’s a driver. Some paint imperfections and other features expected with a 40+ year-old car. Replaced radiator. Engine rebuilt by previous owner runs great and no blue smoke.

Unmolested. No headers no cut-up dash for modern stereo no engine modifications no mag wheels.

Needs heater core. Dash is a cover over the original not my favorite. Headliner is drooping. Power steering hoses leak a bit. Haven’t looked into why the dash lights and radio don't come on. Fuel gauge is always on full.

I bought the car 3 years ago in San Jose CA and drove it home (840 miles). I don't drive it very often and need some garage space for a father/sons project.
