Pontiac GTO 1968 Description

1968 Pontiac GTOMotor: matching number YS code 400 engine with # 16 cylinder heads factory intake quadrajet carb and exhaust manifolds. Has a freeze plug leak so it does leak some coolant when running has great oil pressure.Trans: original Turbo 400 shifts good does leak a smidge.Interior: factory original parchment interior will need some restoringExterior and sheetmetal: Car was originally Nightshade Green very rare color code. It does have dents here and there needs a trunklid front fenders are good usable cores. Driver's side front fender was damaged at some point and repaired. The doors quarter panels roof skin fenders hood floorpans cowl area lower windshield frame rockers inner and out wheel well housings are all super nice. Car does have some rust damage around the rear window and package tray area typical of vinyl top cars.Trunkpan has a few very small pinholes but it very solid also. I have an extra trunklid that is solid but needs work that I'm throwing in the deal also. This was a West Coast car originally until it came to Louisiana last year! No salty rot box!Wheels/Tires: Brand new 14x7 steel wheels with brand new 225/60/R14 BFG RadialsThis GTO needs to be restored but would make a great driver with mechanicals repaired and good trunklid installed. I am selling it with a Bill of Sale I received it this way and do not have a title on it. It comes with a Louisiana State Police Inspection so procedure on getting a title depends on what state the buyer is in. Shouldn't be a problem. The car does have a fair reserve and I will tell you that it is below 8k. Any questions on the car please feel free to call me Philip @ (225) 964-0531. If I don't answer leave a voice mail I'll get back to you asap. I can also text additional pics if needed. Thanks for viewing the auction!
