Pontiac Firebird 1981 Description

Basically started out building a 1981 Pontiac Trans am as a show quality car. I bought the car with 73003 original miles and drove it 4 miles and started taking it apart! It was on a rotisserie and sandblasted/ epoxy primed. It has the original 305 4 speed. It was bored . 030 over and completely rebuilt. New pistons. rings. cam. etc. As the car sits now I have all the parts except Carpet. exhaust. radiator windshield and battery. I was half way through the body work. so one side is ready for primer. the undercarriage is pained with PPG DBC Black/White base coat with PRLX 2 Gold Pearl over the top then Flat cleared with PPGs Flex N Flat Clear. Mixed with a satin sheen. Looks sweet!! Just about every nut and bolt on the car was changed to Stainless Steel that I had grinded and polished each and every one! All the drive train is new (Bushing. brakes. body mounts. etc. ) Basically its a new car underneath and the engine bay. The interior is tan and no rips or tears in any of the seats. Dash has no cracks. Excellent project to finish! Ive decided to do another project. Not to smart to let this one go but the right price takes it! CAR IS SOLD AS IS.
