Custom black louvers are fitted to the rear window.TECHNICAL: 1969 Camaro block, owerhouse heads, .05 intakes, ingle plane high rise, emon 750 mechanical and MSD distributor with mechanical advance only. Estimated duration approx. 300, .50 rocker ratio, olid cam with aluminum roller rockers. Engine is currently running 16 degrees initial timing and 36 degrees total. Estimated compression is 10.5:1. Fuel used is Sunoco 93. I'm an engineer by trade and using several power equations using standard criteria for gasket thickness, uench and so forth, y estimate is somewhere between 450 and 480 HP. Without putting the car on a dyno. there's no way to actually know. My experience driving the car is that full throttle in first and second gear is not realistic.OVERALL: This is a VERY FUN and SATISFYING car to drive. The engine has a large lope at idle and people definitely take notice when you start it. It is a head turner with the scoop, ouvers and paint. Again, his is a BASIC resto./touring build. That's what makes it affordable. I'm the 3rd owner in the present configuration. The second owner did the work and spent a large sum to get the car where it is. What he didn't do is tune it. When I got the car the fuel and ignition were not correct. I spent a couple months with different pumps, ines and carb fuel levels. By tweaking, have the car where it is now. Over the holidays I had my regular mechanic of 20 years set the valve lash, weak the timing and brakes. I have had the car a little over a year and have driven it about 1100 miles. I change the oil and filter about every 300 miles to keep it as clean as possible. This is critical due to the starting fuel required to start and warm up. I'm selling in order to buy another "hot rod". I really enjoy loud, ast cars and there are so many out there. I'm a car guy with a '57 Bel Air and a numbers matching '67 Camaro. The hot rod is great for a 20-30 minute blast up the highway and back. This car is very obtainable with a reasonable reserve. Looking for reasonable. I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Car is advertised elsewhere. I will help you with the shipping process. 334-717-3520 pics./info.
