Up for auction is a very rare 67 Pontiac Firebird Sprint Convertible just out of a high end restoration after a 30 year storage. Please look at the pictures carefully as they tell the story of this beautiful and rare car. Of the 82,700 Firebirds built only 370 were Sprint Convertibles, ompare that to your every day Camaro. This car sports it's factory original interior except for the carpet and it is in spectacular condition with a gorgeous dash, onsole, nd steering wheel. This frame off restoration was done with no expense sparedreplacingor rebuilding everything on the car. The rare 230 cubic inch numbers matching engine and transmission was pulled rebuilt and detailed. The 3.8 6 cylinder has a rare factory original 4 barrel carb and split manifold. New starter, attery, elts, oses,brakes, rake lines, uel lines, as tank, ew air shocks on the rear wheels, ires, indow channels, oor and trunk rubbers. Bumpers were re-chromed, onvertible top and boot is brand new and has not been down since it was installed. The car was stripped to bare metal and finished in single stage acrylic enamel with hardener and is as slick as a new born baby's butt.The bottom of the car is painted satin black not globby undercoating. A super rare car like this at one of the major auction houses would fetch north of 60 grand plus buyer premium but our reserve isconsiderablymore reasonable. NOTE; LESS THAN 100 MILES ON THIS CAR SINCE RESTORATION WAS COMPLETED LAST MONTH. THE BRAKES WERE CONVERTED TO 4 WHEEL POWER DISC BRAKES FOR SAFETY AND EVERYTHING WORKS EXCEPT THE RADIO. GOOD LUCK.
