Up for sale is a 1956 Pontiac Star Chief Custom Catalina 2 door hardtop. This is an old school build done in the 70's. The car lived in Memphis Tennessee in the early 60's then moved to Connecticut in early 2000's. The underside is beautiful. Floors,frame and rockers are rust free with no signs of repairs. The body is very nice,straight and rust free. The paint is older with minor scratches and chips. Colors are Black Cherry over Silver. The interior is matching and in very nice condition. The bumpers are beautiful re-chromed long ago. All the stainless and trim are original and nice. The mechanicals are as follows... motor is a Pontiac Big block either a 389 or 400 with a 65 tri-power set up, ransmission .Muncie 4 speed, tock rear end. The car starts,runs,shifts and stops nice. It has a stock suspension, anual brakes and steering. The wheels are vintage torque thrust with bias plys. This car is very cool and gets a lot of attention.
