Here is a true 242 - 1969 GTO. This is truly one of the most iconic muscle cars of all time.
This Goat features the original - matching numbers 400 V-8 with 350 HP, and the original Muncie M-20 4 speed with Hurst shifter. These Pontiacs are known for their monster torque, and this car won’t disappoint. The engine is unmolested, and recently had new rings installed. With the 3:55 rear gear; this car is super fun on the street! The 4 BBL Rochester Quadrajet carburetor operates perfectly with no hesitation.
The exterior is featured in Matador Red (one year only), and is correct to the trim tag. The paint is beautifully finished in base coat / clear coat, and shines like new. The Endura front bumper is free of cracks, and looks beautiful. There are no scratches, chips, dents or dings anywhere to be found on the exterior of this classic muscle car. All the gaps on the hood, doors and trunk are straight and even, and the doors open and close with ease.
The black bucket seat interior looks like new. The foam is still firm, and the seats are very comfortable. All the gauges work just the way they should including the 8,000 RPM tachometer. All the weatherstripping and fuzzies are in excellent shape, and the dash is free of cracks. The headliner is in excellent shape, and the carpet looks like new. Most importantly; the hide-a-away headlights work perfectly!
