Pontiac GTO 1969 Description

Let me first say that I am listing this ’69 Pontiac GTO Judge for a well-known classic and muscle car dealership and in doing so, will be acting as an agent for this dealership. The owner, ho is a friend and someone that I have known for over 20 years, span>founded his dealership in 1996 and has been a veteran of the car business for over 30 years. All of his vehicles are chosen for the highest standards and quality. A careful and complete analysis is done on every one before they offered for sale. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or additional needed information.

Additionally, understand that there is a lot of information in my ad. I also understand that this may be boring to the person who is just looking and not buying. However, or the person who is looking to buy and spend their hard earned money, feel that there is never too much information.

As to myself, am a (66) year old kid that loves muscle cars. For my work, am retired from Managing a Correctional Facility here in Maine and had worked for the Maine Department of Corrections for (40) years. I am also a respected member of my community. I mention this only because of the value of this car and so that prospective buyers will have some idea as to who they are dealing with. Also, lease check out my eBay feedback that has only one negative feedback which I believe I should not have received. I was given the option to refund money to the buyer or he would leave negative feedback and ruin my 100% feedback. I did nothing wrong and always disclose everything in my ads so I declined. He left the one and only negative comment out of (1,140) transactions. Many of my transactions have been muscle cars, hich I have sold to individuals all over the country as well as Canada, ngland, rance, witzerland and Australia. My reputation for honesty is well known amongst muscle car lovers.

INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS ARE WELCOME WITH A DOWN PAYMENT VIA PAYPAL AND THE BALANCE VIA WIRE TRANSFER ONLY.

Just some quick history on the GTO Judge:

In response to the success of the Road Runner and other low cost alternatives to Pontiac's original musclecar the GTO, he division started work on an alternative low dollar performance car. By the time everyone had their say, he ET (for elapsed time, ot extra-terrestrial) had become an optionon top ofthe cost of a GTO. According to legend, ohn Delorean was impressed with the car when he saw it but thought the name ET wasn't catchy enough. Remembering the popularity of the Laugh-In show he suggested The Judge.

Although The Judge was originally intended as a one year promotion, ts sales kept it alive for the next two seasons. The 1970 version was basically the same with the exception of a change to two "eyebrow" stripes per side to accent the new body lines and a spoiler that no longer curved to meet the quarter panels. Orbit Orange (a yellow - go figure) was the signature color for the car. 1971 was the last year for The Judge, he last year for the GTO convertible, nd the first year for low compression.

Our 1969 Pontiac GTO Judge is wicked nice and nothing short of “AWESOME”.

You may think "over the top" with this quality restoration, ut really, ny collector car enthusiast would be proud to add this to his/her collection. This ultra-rare example has undergone a complete body off restoration in its original colors.Rarely seen in this color combination, t was restored using mostly NOS “new old stock” parts. They gathered up the very best quality parts they could find, ithout consideration ofcost. The car was professionally restored by a local restoration shop which is considered one of the finest in the Northeast. Top to bottom …sun visors to restored and calibrated gauges. Even the glove box emblem is NOS that was sourced at a cost of $700. Who pays $700 for an emblem? Only a purist! This car was finished in 2009 then driven 5,000 miles. In 2015 the car underwent a complete restoration cosmetic update at a cost of $8,500 bringing it to #1 condition. Taking over 3 years to restore to these standards, his ’69 GTO Judge should be considered a number one condition, rame-off collector car.

As an FYI,

this rare ’69 Judge has the original, umbers matching, -speed Dearborn manual transmission which was produced by the Ford Motor Company. It is said that there were only 124 1969 GTO Judges assembled with 3-speed Dearborn manual transmissions.
