Pontiac Bonneville 1977 Description
1977 Pontiac Bonneville Brougham in striking two-tone green Berkshire Green and Bahia Green. Very low mileage. Runs like a top. Needs nothing. Starts right up and floats down the road. Even the A/C still works.
The original owner owned this vehicle until 2012. It has original paint and the interior and carpets are in amazing condition. Original floor mats too. Absolutely no cracks in dash.
It is powered by a 6.6 liter Pontiac 400 cubic inch engine with 4 barrel carb. This is very unusual in that almost all the Bonnevilles in 1977 were equipped with the lowly 301. Only 5% of Bonnevilles received this engine. This engine was almost exclusively used in Grand Prixs and Firebirds.
The air conditioning has been reconditioned and cools nicely. This car came loaded with options. It is equipped with radial tuned suspension, 5 rally II wheels, power disc brakes, power steering, cruise control, electric window, locks and seats, rear window defroster, remote control mirrors, Deco AM/FM stereo radio and a digital clock. Everything works...even the clock!
I have all books, original window sticker and original bill of sale and two sets of keys.
In the last 1000 miles the following has been done:
4 new radial tires, a tune up including new plug wires, rotor, distributor cap, PC valve, air and fuel filters and all belts and 4 new shocks.
In the last 10,000 Miles in addition the following has been done:
Master cylinder, rear brakes with all new hardware and brake lines. water pump, carb rebuilt and a total engine reseal, including oil pan gaskets, transmission gaskets & filter, rear end gaskets valve cover gaskets and new muffler, exhaust and tailpipe. The oil has been changed and the coolant flushed in the last 200 miles.
This car isnot completelyperfect but it isclose to it.It was meticulously maintained and serviced by the original owner. Most of the service records come with the car. It looks close to new and drives like a brand new car. It drives straight down the road, is extremely quiet and stops fine with no pulling or shimmying. It has a few minor road chips, some light scratches, a little discoloration on the roofand one small ding but that is about it. The underneath is very clean and the trunk is perfect. Original chrome bumpers look fantastic too.
This is a great car that needs nothing done and could be used as a daily driver or put in shows. It would be great for this summer. I would guess that there are hardly any left in this type of nice and genuine condition. It is priced very reasonably.
