Pontiac Sunbird 1987 Description
Here we have a 1987 Pontiac Sunbird Turbo GT Convertible, .0 liter 4 Cyl Turbo producing 165 HP from the factory. this was a stand alone year for this body and options. I have not done any paint or body work at this point, s I was halted in early August when my hip went out, ut the car does run and drive. I have put together a couple list for you as to what I found the car still needs, s well as the photos showing. I will be putting the tires on and the top up as well as posting more photos in the next couple of days. Best of all I have kept in Garage, ent threw and startedto replace items, ts all original and unmolested, nd can be bought reasonableby you as a project, aily driver under construction, r one to restore and sell for profit all up to you as this is a no reserve auctionNEEDS I KNOW: Front & Rear Struts/Shocks Brake's, xhaust pipe and Muffler, uel Filter, nd a Tune. About $400 for parts at Advance Auto Parts
WHAT I'VE DONE: New Windshield, ires, ower Steering cooler line, hermostat and Gasket.
BODY NEEDS: Has spots/ areas surface rust, mall dent in right fender ( ORIGINAL PAINT )
A BIT HISTORY: The GT convertible is the rarest variant, ith fewer than 1,300 sold, he base engine still used throttle-body injection, or a new total of 96hp (72kW), nd the turbo still used port-injection, or a new total of 165hp (123kW). Also, he convertible could only be ordered in GT trim.
I bought this car last July with intent on restoration, utmyhealth took a unexpected turn, nd blew out my left hip, o now my loss could be your gain if yo have the winning bid, heck out NADA, nd Google for information on this vehicle. Thank you for looking, ood luck and remember this with a little more money and work this car s value is at minimum twice what I'm listing for. feel free to request any certain photos and ask any questions. BID TO WI, T'S WORTH IT!
ADDITIONAL: Added about 13 new photo's,forgot to list Factory Boot (w/case), nd Fog Lights. I had to put battery charger on it, attery low from sitting maybe weak, nd I have the Drivers door molding in the trunk
