Sat in barn for 20 years, owner lost interest, don't miss out on the this rare opportunity to own a nice car with great potential. Has all original locks and keys for the car!

Color: Yorktown Blue Poly

This car was built at the Baltimore Plant

A quick decoding of the VIN is as follows 824B1858, 8 is the engine displacement, 2 is the series (LeMans), 4 is the year 196(4), and B is the plant (Baltimore), the last numbers are the production sequence.

Very hard to find 1964 LeMans Convertible. I am selling this car with an original steel 1964 GTO Hood that is in excellent condition (This hood alone is a $2,000.00- $3,000.00 value, search EBAY and you will find one for sale at $3,000 without the chrome scoops). Was put on car in the mid seventies when the vehicle had it's only repaint. This amazing car also is also being sold with what I believe to be the Original 326 V8 and the Original 3 Speed Manual Transmission (they didn't VIN stamp these parts until 1969), but date codes are correct. The engine that comes with this car was totally rebuilt in 2009. Jasper Engines (worlds largest engines re-builder) with the Jasper number 703859 shows it rebuilt around 2008-2009 time frame and that the rebuild cost was $4900.00 when it was rebuilt and came with a 3 year/100,000 mile warranty which has now already passed. I can tell you that looking down into the spark plug holes the pistons are brand new in this engine. This is basically a brand new 326 Engine coming with this car as well. (never fired, turns over great). This vehicle is missing some engine parts to run, starter, distributor, dampener, hoses, belts, if I had them I would give them to you, but I don't.

The good, nice solid frame (this can be hard to find as they held dirt, and water and tend to rot), the sheet metal on this car is mostly rust free (some surface rust) front fenders are rust free, no holes, and appear to have little bondo, hood has some surface rust, but appears to be very clean and straight, front nose is a little (very minor) tweaked but fixable, doors are in great shape, deck lid has some surface rust but is clean and straight, rear panel in great shape, LH quarter panel in great shape but will need a patch panel, RH quarter is a little rough, has some previous repair and a couple medium dents, and needs a lower patch, or just replace panel (body mans call). Front floor pans need replaced, and rear lower trunk pans need replaced, all other floor pans in great shape. All of the glass is in excellent condition except for the windshield. The passenger side door window needs to be put back on its tracks.

Car was built at the Baltimore Plant therefore if you clone this car into a 1964 GTO Convertible nobody at a car show can tell it is a clone by the tag on this car, as the Baltimore plant didn't list any options which is unlike the the Kansas or Pontiac plants that will list the GTO option as 5N. I'm not much for cloning cars but it would be a very inexpensive way to own a 1964 GTO Convertible which only 6,644 were built and have brought in over $90,000.00 at car auctions. Remember GTO was only an option in 64 and 65, all GTO's are just an option on a LeMans.

Have PHS documentation which PHS says is very vague for the Baltimore plant, as it was controlled by Chevrolet. They cannot confirm any vehicle options (i.e. radio, A/C, power steering etc.), they can only confirm paint colors, engine trans, and differential info. The documentation shows it was build with a 250HP 326 2BBL engine a 3 speed manual trans, and a 3.23 non posi differential which I counted ratio in diff and confirmed. Engine is correct with the exception of the added 4BBL intake carb and air cleaner. Block says 925, heads are code 345 same for both 326 engines, trans is correct and rear diff is correct as well. It was sold/ordered to/by Frank Hayes Pontiac, 544 E. Third St, Williamsport PA 17701 and was built on 3-12-1964
