Pontiac Other 1937 Description

Here is a RARE, once in a lifetime opportunity to own a Show Winner custom classic Street Rod. After 16 years of pampering the owner has decided to make his wife happy and bought her (his) dream car, a decked out Boss Mustang....so this long cherished baby has to go. This fine motorcar needs nothing but a new owner to enjoy it for the next 16 years. Here is just a partial listing of this MULTIPLE trophy winning1937 Pontiac 5 window coupes MANY attributes.
This professionally constructed jewel uses the TRUE metal '37 Pontiac body w/ custom "suicide doors" mounted to it's original frame but upgraded to a '67 Camaro front clip, totally rebuilt with QA1 coil over front springs and all new disc brakes. Stops FANTASTIC.
The rear end is a Ford 8.8" rear with very desirable 3:08 gears coupled to a bomb proof Turbo 350-3 speed automatic tranny. Cruising perfection and fuel efficiency all in one package. The fuel cell is constructed of stainless steel and is baffled so NO "sloshing" of fuel and holds 19.4 gallons.
Then engine is the highly sought after late 60's 327 and was fully machined, magna fluxed and tested before it's rebirth began using only the BEST of componentry. That includes; roller rocker camshaft and lifters, Hi-performance heads, Perma-star (chrome) intake w/ 650cfm Holley, Mallory Unilite distributor, Sanderson "hugger" headers, Billet aluminum valve covers, auxillary "Cool-it" 4500 cfm cooling fan (keeps her running cool in ANY temp.) & chrome galore.
Starting to get the idea??? NO expense spared in this top shelf build and only the best available componentry was used.
The Flowmaster dual exhaust w/ custom chrome tips make this baby "bark" when you ask it to "go".
On to the fully customized interior. There is an overhead console that supports all lighting functions from basic interior, under body and under engine lighting, rear seating lights, auxillary lighting as well as housing a "secret" storage compartment. There is a fully functioning Southern Air AC (heat too) system that flows thru the modern custom venting tubes. Power windows and key fob activated "door poppers" allow EASY access to both doors and rear deck lid. (Secret foot popper too). The Pioneer top of the line stereo has crisp, full volume capability for that luxurious surround sound too. There is a "flush mount" hidden power retractable antenna to complete the stereo. Seats are emblazened with the "37" logo on the headrests of the beige tweed cloth interior. Again, you can see from the pictures that the attention to detail, fit and finish were paramount in this build. This IS a drivable show car that has approximately 30 show "Wins" and trophys.
The wheels are Vintage Billet aluminum rims in flawless condition with Cooper Cobra GT 255/60-15 rear tires & 215/60-15 fronts....again, as new. The body has a 2 1/2" roof chop for that TRUE Custom Street Rod stance and look. Add to that the shaved door handles and meticulous finish in Black High Gloss paint, plus the 1" wide Flip Flop accent stripe that varies in color from gold to aqua to green to fuscia to a rainbow of pearl colors and WOW! This car stands out visually AND performance wise. Driving perfection without a worry. But wait....if that isn't enough, how about the custom, tasteful pinstriping for just a "touch" of 50's influence? There is even a hardwired "off season" battery tender so there's never a dead battery.
Every consideration was given to this build to make it stand out, perform and be visually stunning. So.........the "motivated seller" is asking that you make REALISTIC offers for this $70 appraised super car. If you would like a TRUE Show Winning car with timeless design and start of the art build quality THIS IS IT. Don't miss this once in a lifetime chance to own an EVER INCREASING IN VALUE motorcar.
