Pontiac Fiero 1988 Description
Have owned this car since 1992 and used it up until 2002 and it's been off the road since then and under cover.Underside does have some rust on frame,a small hole in left side of trunk compartment, and battery tray needs replacing, but still holds a battery. If I don't sell car and put back on the road,it will only be used locally to be sure of reliability as it hasn't been registered in 14 years. This car has been amazingly reliable and I HATE that Pontiac's are no longer being made because they are awesome cars!!! This particular model is quite rare as it's the t-top and the 1988 with the better suspension than years 1984-'87.Interior on this is gray in color and very nice condition, but headliner is wrinkled and loose in areas, but doesn't detract from the looks of the interior. The rear view mirror does need to be glued back up,but is with car.A few years back I replaced the fuel pump with a new one as well as a new dual exhaust and flexible transmission cooler lines.I also replaced the throttle body a few years back.I was going to just register car as an antique seeing I'd be using it sparingly and the occasional car show.Anyway, car is still in storage and will try to get more pictures soon, but please note that car is being sold as is where is so no guarantees in any form come with this car!!! Remember, car is 28 years old and from a climate with temps in the winter from -20 to 100 degrees in the summer. The ONLY reason I'm selling is because it does take up valuable space which I could use for other things, but I will not give it away either. Also,I am still very attached to this car and it's rarity so it will not phase me in the least if it does not sell!!! In my opinion, this car still has lots of life and lots of fun still left in it,but just testing the waters to see interest here and please don't ask what the reserve is,although it is in fair range. Also, bidders with negative feedback or low to no feedback at all will be cancelled and blocked from bidding.Car WILL NOT be released until any checks are cleared and car is paid in full, although I do not have a problem with holding car for a while or possible payment plans talked about with me before bidding and again, car will not be released until paid in full!!!
