Pontiac Firebird 1977 Description

1977 TRANS AM
DHC BLACKOUT EDITION
The legendary black 1977 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am. This car is a true American icon thanks to Hollywood. But when you see a coupe with great paint, great stance, Ice-Cold A/C, and updated suspension, you soon realize that you have to feel the ROAR of this American icon.
Of course we know why you love a 77 T/A. It’s the genuine year for the original Smokey and the Bandit, but take a moment to clear your mind of that legend so you can see how a DHC Black Out Edition T/A gets its fundamentals. It starts with a professional full custom look with Molded Bumper Extensions, Morphed Extension Panels, Morphed Fender Vents, absolutely no body seems, with a Deep 3 Coat PPG Black Onyx base and PPG Euro Clear. The paint was color sanded and buffed to an extreme shine. As a proper Trans Am, you get everything you love and then some including the screaming chicken and shaker hood, to the full-width molded rear spoiler, smoked taillights, evil red Led Projector Headlights all lowered of course, plus a set of custom 17" Iconic Snowflake-Style wheels.
Inside the stellar black pleated, red stitched seats feel like a lazy boy recliner. The black buckets are high-backed and well bolstered for an exceptionally comfortable feeling. These are complemented by the custom center console and custom rear seats. The driver gets to stare at a spectacular carbon fiber dash filled with Electronic Race Gauges while listening to a 200W Pioneer Deck and full surround sound audio system with two rear mounted 6x9" speakers two side mounted 3.5" speakers and two dash mounted speakers. Other comfort options include, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and the recent addition of a modern R134a air conditioning system. This engine has been dressed up for show with new Edlebrock 750cfm Carb, Edlebrock valve covers and factory shaker hood scoop.
This strong 6.6L 400 Cubic Inch has some nice muscle thanks to the four-barrel carburetor, and new Flowmaster dual exhaust. Trans Ams were known for their handling, and this one goes one step further with dropped front coil springs, dropped rear leafs with air shock assist, upgraded front/rear sway bars, power steering, 4 speed manual transmission, front disc brakes, and the modern grip of Nitto NT555 tires make this a great coupe for any driving condition.
This car had approx 35K miles on the engine, it runs great so we did not see the need to rebuild, the odometer was reset with the new autometer gauges.
A full custom sleek 77 Trans Am, and only the most Sinister will do, then DHC has the one you've been looking for…
