Pontiac Le Mans 1965 Description

Up for sale is our beloved LeMans. She is a pretty unique '65 Pontiac. I have owned the car for nearly 14 years and have decided to let someone else take over, as my priorities have changed. The previous owner had done a pretty good amateur restoration and it is now starting to show its age.
I only posted a few quick pictures and will try to get more out soon. I will try to be brief on the description and the car's history. I know how Ebay can be and I figure that those who are truly interested can e-mail me and provide a phone number so that I can call to answer questions. It would be easier on everyone. Nothing personal, but I am very busy and have no time for games.
Here's the lowdown:The previous owner had put all GTO badges, hood etc. on the car. I left the hood on, but the car is a LeMans, so the badges are gone. The owner rebuilt a 421 Tri-power motor from a 2+2 Catalina, dropped it in, and hooked it up to a Muncie 4-Speed with Hurst Shifter. The motor is high compression and holds good oil pressure. It hasn't run much lately, but does run. Yes - It's a beast.
The car has been sitting and some of the paint is starting to go and you can see on the hood where some Bondo was. It is starting to pop loose and there is some on the driver's rear quarter, as well. There are also a few bubbles of rust starting here and there, but nothing severe. I pretty much stripped the interior and was going to start putting in new upholstery, but plans changed. I have a nice Tempest interior including a power bench seat I was going to put in. There is a story behind that... It needs a headliner, carpet, etc, installed.
The car is NOT a basket cast and can be brought back to a driver pretty easily. The floor pans and frame are really solid. It appears the trunk was patched with some sheet metal at some time, but looks good. The brakes are soft from sitting, but the car does start and run. It will need to be put on a roll-back or single trailer to ship. Please note that I live in the boonies and that is all that will get in and out of my driveway. A full size car hauler will not work.
I will post more pictures when I can, but please understand I am very busy and I also don't check my e-mails as often as some folks do. I will be glad to discuss the car with anyone seriously interested. I would really welcome anyone nearby to come see the car, if possible.
Please don't bid if you have negative feedback or a feedback score of less than 10, as these will be rejected. I will also deal with non-paying bidders according to policy. Sorry - But some things need to put out there. Please feel free to e-mail me with a number if you are serious about the car.
Thank You.
