Pontiac Grand Prix 1969 Description
TITLE: 1969 Pontiac Grand PrixSUBTITLE: Super rare Barn Find J model 428 a/t
DESCRIPTION: Here she is. It a 1969 model J Grand Prix it Sis a one owner rust free never wrecked one of 659. it has all numbers matching everything 428 (details below). A/T P/S power windows power locks 4 way power drivers seat A/C. Like I said it was purchased in Bakerafeild CA in 69' and was there till 73' when Boise IA then Las Vegas Nv. Car comes with clean original title and original pink slip and most all resipets from its life. Everything in numbers a matching. The car is unmolested including the stock AM radio that's still works nothing changed and everything works, Amazing!,,,, OK here all that is new and or replaced.
The motor (428) Pontiac XF casting
Completely rebuilt Not bored by Butler performance and IA cyclnder heads
46 casting heads diamond Pistons all internals coming from Butler performance or HO Performance receipts of over $8,000 tells the story she is one bad Poncho. New belts, Hoses, plugs wires and special one off HEI convention of the stock point distributor so it look stock and runs like new. 850 cfm Quadrjet factory numbers matching NW fuel pump and new gas tank from OP, Trans is the factory 400 turbo rebuilt with Fairbanks shift kit and converter, new 3 1/2" moly drive shaft and performance Ujoints
Stock 10 bolt rearend with 3.23 gears factory option. Only thing needed or recommended would be exhaust have receipt of when it was last changed at Mitas in 76' nice.
Suspension is all redone and done right. All springs front and rear Hotchins KYB gas shocks all four corners all new bushing, Ball joints, sway bar links ect... Nothing forgot. New brakes pads and shoes all bearing repackaged and replaced. Tires very nice but not stock. There were changed from the tiny 14' rollers to the factory 15' rally's bought from the Pontiac dealer in 71' have the receipt. Once again everything works all lights turn and backup lights horns A/C. Which I am going to have changed from R12 to R 134 in a week or two.
Interior is all stock and in fantastic condition dash Perfecrt no cracks no fades all factory gauges and speedo work not a wire cut under the dash it is as it was in 69' except for the interior lights are changed to LED lamps tha is it. Has every option alvaible except for tilt wheel and factory tach it even has power truck release the works great. All the interior is dark green and is perfect except for one or two small cracks in the door panels and one small tear in the drivers seat in normal place. And console glove box door was placed with a black one.
This one unbelievable find and everything has already been gone through or checked. It is ready for the next step
The Body is rust free and never wrecked a couple very small dings dime sign and cart dings nothing major. Body work was done on the car in the mid 70's poorly and shows once again nothing major. All jams and gaps are perfect and the hood and doors open and close like new it's unbeilable. It runs a drive like new and I would drive it anywhere or any distance I have and bunch of receipts and paperwork on the everything and I can answer and many questions to the best of my ability.
I don't need help selling the car and please be respectful of my time it is a super neat and rare late 60's muscle car I know it was (1of 659) and probiblly not 100 of these are let and not a handful as nice as this.
Thanks for your time
