1964 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX



I am pleased to offer this beautiful 1964 Pontiac Grand Prix. This Grand Prix has undergone an excellent cosmetic restoration on a solid California car. This Pontiac features a long list of special equipment that includes a 389 cubic inch engine with a 4 bbl and dual exhaust, General Motors 4 speed hydromatic, power brakes (new), power steering, factory air conditioning (cold), power windows (all work), bucket seats with center console and center gear control and more. The paint work is at least 9 out of 10. The body is free of any waves or major repairs. I went over the entire lower body with a magnet and could not find any filler or rust repair. It is possible that when blocking each panel a skim coat of plastic was used but I could not find that either. Please look at the pictures carefully as they are a testimonial to the cars overall beautiful condition. Here is what I found that will need attention someday. There is no air coming out of the dash upper center vent, all other vents work as they should. The brakes are tight at very low speeds. I contend that it is due to everything being new and driving the car should stabilize it. The car drives well even on the bias ply tires. By the way the wire wheel covers are original and all in excellent condition. As always if you have any questions simply call or email. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.
