Pontiac GTO 1966 Description

Selling this project to free up time, space, money for others. Original red, black vinyl top, 4 speed car. Main body is in pretty good condition. PO put quarters on it and front floors. Needs the trunk finished up, right side 12" of rocker where it was dented and pulled out. A little bit at the front window lower corners, and the rear package tray need finished.

Front fenders are Lemans so they will need the holes filled. Dog legs need repaired, but very usable fenders. Hood right rear corner is folded up from a garage mishap - has original insert. Inner fenders are good. The rest of the nose I don't have.

Frame is a convertible frame that I had sand blasteded, epoxied, and the coated in truck bed liner. I didn't have the front coated as I wanted to remove the a-arms first. It's a very good frame with way more strength then the stock coupe frame.

Rear is a 3.91 safe-t-track. It has new aftermarket boxed control arms, 1.5" lowering springs and all new bushings.

Car is sitting on the frame - needs new bushings and bolted down. I have all new SS brake lines that need to be installed. Same with the front sheet metal - it's just on with a few bolts to hold it in place.

No glass (i have the rear), rear seat, or grill parts. Not pictured are the front seats, but I have them and they are in decent shape. All the chrome including for the vinyl top appear to be in the car. Also, the window regulators, most of the wiring harness/fuse block, and some other parts are in boxes.

It's a solid start to a build - not a ton of metal work to do and the frame is just about done. The convertible frame and posi rear are worth the starting price!!!
