Pontiac Firebird 1969 Description
This is a very rare 1969 Firebird 350HO (rated at 325 HP). This limited edition high output version comes with the stock upgrades for the model - a 4 Barrel Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor, higher performance cylinder heads and camshaft than the base counterpart of the same year. Turbo-Hydramatic 400 Transmission auto tran posi Rear. Power steering/brakes. Front disc/rear drums. Dual Exhaust. Hood Tach (works). All original interior and dash components (with some additional guages and modern stereo added below console)A numbers matching XC code automatic trans engine block, with #48 cylinder heads and a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 transmission.
It is 1 of only 2,670 Automatic Transmission HO's Produced in '69 and appears to be one of the nicest unmolested 1st Generation Firebirds you will find anywhere with a numbers matching drivetrain.
At the moment it has Cragar SS wheels installed, but included are the original Rally II ones that came with the car.
Carousel Red with Black Bucket Interior. Interior is in great shape, with only some minor wear on some of the front seats.
A very rare bird and in fantastic shape for being unmolested, inside and out. I have babied this car for 11 years, but it does need further restoration to be a proper showcar. This car turns heads and is a conversation starter. Own a piece of automotive history. Take it on a dream roadtrip, with the power features, disc brakes and strong shocks it's a pleasure to drive. Or restore it to be a car show queen.
This car has been well kept - I have enjoyed it for 11 years and have kept most of the receipts for all work done. More recent work includes: Installation of Load Leveller air adjustable shocks and had carburetor rebuilt professionally.

No major accidents. The frame is straight. There is minor damage on the driver front fender (you can see it in the pics right in front of thefirebirddecal "F")
There is the beginning of rust around rear windows and some edge panels. Some rust under paint on rear quarter panels near wheel wells. (see closer pics)
I don't have any info about the previous owners as I bought it from a dealership 11 years ago.
