<1989 marked the Trans Am's 20th exciting year. To celebrate the occasion, ontiac developed the 20th Anniversary Trans Am. This all white Trans Am was chosen to pace the 73rd Indianapolis 500 Race, arking the third appearance by Pontiac at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since 1980. This car proudly met all demanding Indianapolis Pace Car requirements without any mechanical or technical modifications. The3.8 liter SFI fuel injected V6,with its turbocharger and intercooler, tands on the cutting edge of engine technology. With its computer-controlledGarrett turbochargerset at a maximum boost of 16.5 psi, his THM 200-4R four speed automatic transmission-equipped V6 develops250 horsepowerat 4400 rpm and a maximum torque of 345 ft. lbs. Each 20th Anniversary Trans Am is equipped with a special heavy-duty brake system. It also has a specially designed fuel tank derived from IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) Showroom Stock Competition. The white paint is stunning and looks like new The body is laser straight with no dents or chips and there is no cracking to Rear spoiler. . The Buckskin leather interior is also pristine. The seats look new and have Zero wear. The carpets, eadline, oor panels and dash are all perfect as well. The T Top fit nice and tight and do not leak at all. Inside the car you will find everything to be working perfectly. The AC is the Original R 12 and Ice cold. The heat also works. It has the Original am/fm cassette radio with steering wheel controls to allow you to drive the car and change channels easily. All the power functions inside work properly as well. Mechanically The car is just like when it was new. The engine starts right up and runs smooth. Hit the gas and Hold on as the Turbo will put you back in the seat and the suspension is very tight and keeps the car straight. There is no rattles when you drive this car. It just wants to keep going. I have a Buick Grand National and this car is much funner to drive and faster. I just had the engine serviced with New original wires, ew plugs, resh oil change, nd new filters. Thi car is 100 % Stock and never raced or abused. These car's are very Rare and going up in value.
