Pontiac Grand Am 1974 Description

1974 Grand Am. If you are viewing this, ou already know how rare these are. I inherited this car when my friend's family moved. It was bought new by a friend and was ownedand driven in northern California, n the late 1980's the car was brought to Utah.It was not driven in Utah. When the owner movedto Washington hedid not want to take the car, o he gave it to me with the pink slip and asked me to get it out of the way of the new owners of the home. If I recall correctly, his would have been in 2003 or 2004. I stored the car for a couple of years, hen decided to get it running. The summer of 2008 or 2009 I got the car running but never really drove it. I never got it licensed and just used it to put around my small town. At the time, ll I did was put in a new battery, ome fresh fuel, nd a brake master cylinder. I didn't want to go through the carburetor, o I put on an aftermarket intake (included)and anewEdelbrock carb (not included). The original intake and carb, long with all the emission parts are in the trunk. I only drove the car around a little bit during one summer, hen I parked it. It has been sitting under a lean-to for the last several years and has had some exposure to the elements. I recently had to move it for a garage addition, nd now I just want it gone. I don't have the time to take on another restoration project, o I'm selling it. I would like to sell the car as-is in its entirety, opefully to someone who would restore it. If It doesn't sell, hen I myself will part it out this spring when I have more time. Anyone who knows these cars knows the value in the parts is much higher than the car complete.Body seems to be straight except for the rubber front end, nd there is a dent in the front passenger fender. There is a bit of surface rust on most of the car. All the glass is there with no cracks. The hood has rust along the front edge. Some of the trim is coming loose, nd some is missing around the windows. Tires are complete junk, ne has lost its tread cap. The wheels are the Honeycomb style and they are the 15 inch instead of the 14, nd there is a Spare honeycomb in the trunk as well. Also have the original manuals and documents from when the car was purchased. Please refer to the photos fora better description. If you want other photos, lease ask. The car is located in central Utah and the buyer will be responsible for pick up. I also may be willing to haul it on a trailer to you for $1.50 per mile depending on your location.

UPDATE- I was asked about the interior by a couple people on here. As seen in photos, he rear seat looks ok, he fronts and dash are cracked a bit, nd the carpet would surely need replaced. Also, n the description, t says 6.6 liter, ontiac actually calls it a "6.5 LITRE" according to the emblem on the truck lid. Also, he VIN number is not 12345678910; I just had to have something in the box for the posting, f you want the actual VIN to check for trim and build codes, lease email me.-- thanks
