Pontiac ushered in a new sports car in 1967 the Firebird. It shared the same F-body styling and other elements with its General Motors cousin, he Camaro. Much of the sheet metal is shared, ut Pontiac made sure to differentiate themselves from family. The front end was very much still Pontiac with enclosed taillights that very much resembled the GTO. Under the hood was all Pontiac, ffering five different engines to throw in the bay of this Pony car.

For sale by owner is this very nice 1967 Firebird that had extensive cosmetic and mechanical restoration completed a few years ago. Please let all the pictures load, there are over 120) to see the beautiful condition of this classic Pontiac. We don't know everything that has been done to it over the years, hat follows is what we do know. The car started life as a standard Firebird with a 6 cylinder engine . It was repainted (base coat/clear coat) in the original Regimental Red and all the exterior chrome and trim have either been redone or replaced. The original engine is long gone and has been replaced with a mid 70's 350 small block. The transmission is a 1987 700R automatic. It does not have power steering or power brakes. The interior was redone with seats from a Hyundai Tiburon and the undercarriage is solid clean and dry. Rounding out the package are some great looking Cragar SS wheels.

It looks and runs great and is now ready for a new owner.

Please remember that this car is 48 years old and not perfect.
