Pontiac Catalina 1973 Description

You are looking at my 1973 Pontiac Catalina 2 door hardtop coupe. It is a project car,or a driver if you just want a cruiser. Engine has been done and is very fast. New tires, windshield,HEI ignition, recent tune-up,dual exhaust from the manifolds back(sounds amazing),covered to a 4 barrel carb and runs super strong. Speedometer reaches 120 MPH and I've had it there with power to spare.
The Rallye II wheels, sport gauge package and steering wheel are original to this car. As you will see though,it will need interior work(seats,carpet,etc)-headliner is perfect though.
Rust issues: I have pictured the problematic areas, the lower left rear quarter panel will need to be patched in,at one point in this cars life,it was repainted and they used body filler for that section. The right front fender could either be fixed or replaced. The trunk, floors, frame and everything else is solid.
The car is coming with everything you need to finish off what I have started. It will be coming with a AC compressor,4 new window cranks and the main dash piece which was removed for the new windshield and I had not yet repainted(Medium Blue/Pontiac).
The top was sanded down to bare metal and primed although this car had a white vinyl top when it was new. I wanted to preserve the metal so I chose to prime it. A vinyl top or paint can be applied with a light scuff.
Owners manual and paperwork are in the glovebox.
The paint is pretty dull as the clear coat had disappeared over the years. However, the car is very straight and shouldn't take too much to get prepped. Fix the rust areas shown and it will not be much more then that. Trunk was also stripped and undercoated. I have saved the original trunk material so it can traced and matched for new material.
This car will make a fine cruiser with a little work and a vision. I have had loads of fun with and will stand by how nice it drives. There are brand new air shocks in the back, but the air line will need to be hooked back up.
All in all, this is a nice driver and still gets attention when out in the wild. I will be adding pictures here within the next day or 2. The next owner will love driving this car,it's a blast to drive and it is also pretty rare.
Any questions? Feel free to contact me. I will answer anything I can for you. Title is clear-NOT SALVAGE.
No reserve.
I roll with a Pontiac club here where I live and am no stranger to these cars. I would love to see it go to a good home or another Pontiac lover. Make no mistake, the second you get on the open road with this car and hit the throttle-you are GONE.
