Studebaker Champion 2 door Double Dater Coupe 1941 Description
1941 Studebaker Champion Double Dater coupe NO RESERVE! This car runs and drives beautifully and is a blast to drive. Has the rare factory overdrive. Amateurpaint job / body work. This car is 100% rust free. I was told by the fellow I bought it from that the mileage is original but cant verify it. He also said it was painted years ago by a older retired farmer from Texas. Interior is near perfect except for a small mouse hole near the front passenger side headliner. All the gauges / lights work except for the clock - it works on and off. The kick down switch for the overdrive needs replaced. Tires are like new. I replaced the water pump when I bought the car about 4 years ago. Drive this car anywhere. Again, he paint / body work isamateur.I'll gladly assist your hauler of choice. The car is stored in my secure shop. Can't find the time to drive my cars as they should be so I'm thinning out my collection a bit.

The paint seems hard but is dull in some spots and shiny in others. There are sanding scratches and a couple of runs. There is no rust on the car but there must have been dents as body filler was used to apparently fill dents. It doesn't look to bad in the pictures but up close its pretty shabby. The stainless down both sides of the car needs refinished. It's dull in spots and has dents in it. The overdrive works excellent. The kick down switch needs replaced in that if you push the gas pedal to the floor the tranny doesn't shift down.
