Studebaker Lark 1960 Description
I've had this Lark for about 20 years. It was in a barn for the previous 20+. This has been a long-term project, nd I don't have the time to finish it. I started this project with my father, uilding it to cruise. The car is stored in Des Moines and I live in Kansas City so it's been slow going. The car is solid. Original seats were shot after critters found their home in them. The front end is from a late 70's Chrysler. Yep, isc brakes and torsion bar front end. The rear end is from the donor Mopar. I had intended to replace it with an 8-3/4" rear, ut that never happened. Radiator was built for the car. For the first 600 or so miles after the build, t had the donor 318 Mopar motor. A little over a year ago, e put in a rebuilt 318, hich has less than 200 miles on it. Door handles are shaved, nd remote door poppers installed. Seats are from a Honda Accord. As you can see from the pictures, he interior isn't all in it. You can also see that it's a pretty solid old car. It drives nice and has a lot of fun times to give. The paint has some chips from being stored in the garage, ut it's not bad. Passenger front fender got whacked while in storage. It has been titled and licensed in Iowa. Sold as-is with additional parts: original door panels, second dash and other odds and ends.
