Absolutely revolutionary in its design for the Studebaker Centennial celebration for 1952, itis a vehicle design by which no other manufacturer came close to emulating.
The StudebakerCommander chrome bumpers have been rechromed, however the grille and some escutcheons illustrate 64 years of wear from polishing, the elements and exhibit some pitting. Stainless trimis in nice condition. New bright red paint and wide whitewalls set off it's attractive and unique style.
The 1952 Studebakerismotivated by a327 cubic inch Chevy V/8 coupled to a three speed GM TurboHydramatic 350 transmission, providing much improved power and smoothness.
It's absolutely fun to drive, and you will very rarely see anything like it on the road.
