Studebaker Truck 1950 Description
1950 Studebaker Truck. This truck started life as a plain Studebaker truck in 1950. After it was retired from daily driver duties my neighbor purchased it in about 1988. It was then started on as show truck to compete in the NSRA, but after issues with the builder my neighbor lost intrest in it and it sat for 25 years in his warehouse. I rescued it 2 years ago. It was a roller with a lot of work to be done. The truck is as follows: Handbuilt square tube frame with all C4 Corvette suspension front and back. The body is chopped and and channeled and ALL STEAL.There is about 3 years of metal fabrication work in this truck. It has 1989 Mercedes 500 SL headlights and 1989 Dodge Stealth taillights. It has a 1992 Corvette LT1 that has been rebuilt by me. It has 400 turbo transmission with a 2500 stall convertor. It has suicide doors with no door handles(key fob poppers). Digital dash. Southern Rods HVAC. Chevrolet HHR seats. It has tilt steering, power door locks and power windows. It has a 15 gallon polyethylene fuel cell. It also has 2012 Camaro 18 inch wheels. The windshield is tint smoke color glass and the side and rear windows are cast acrylic also smoke color.I have been driving this truck once or twice a week for about a year now. It is not a daily driver however I have driven it enough to get the majority of the bugs worked out.The air conditioning is completely installed but not charged. The digital dash works OK but the speedometer is not correct. I have all analog gauges to replace the digital dash if you prefer. I also have receipts for everything I have purchased for this truck. I also have all the LT1 wiring information. To hear it run go tohttps://youtu.be/gRaBQNEdDmk.On May-16-16 at 19:18:15 PDT, seller added the following information:
