Studebaker 1950 Description
1950 Studebaker Commander Regal 4dr, Flathead 6cyl with Borg Warner automatic trans, odometer shows 36k but unknown if it is over or not. Motor was rebuilt several years ago and has not been run for 3 years although it does turn over with the key. All the brakes were gone through and re-done also. New windshield and rubber seal installed. New chrome emblems for the fenders and new hood emblem is included, NOS taillight lenses in the original boxes are also included. New headliner included and will need to be installed. New 6v battery also included. Body is solid as is the passenger compartment floors, the trunk floor does have a rust hole in it as seen in picture. Car was spray painted with a rattle can by previous owner, Interior seats, door panels and carpeting will need to be re-done. Car will need tires, Hood and front center section are not bolted on as a new center section is included due to the original have a rust hole in it. Some of the wiring will need attention as previous owner does not have some of it hooked up, I have an electrical diagram and shop manual that comes with the car. This is more then likely the reason for its no start issue. Car has a good Wisconsin title dated from 1956. Frame and underbody are surface rusted but not rotten. please ask questions if you have them.
