Studebaker Lark 1962 Description
You are bidding on a cool custom 1962 Studebaker Lark. It was originally a sedan delivery from the factory, even though it has back doors and windows, this is how the lark sedan deliveries came in 62. It is a very rare vehicle that only has 44,701 miles on the body and chasis. It was originally a 259 v8 but has been replaced with a more modern chevy 305 v8 that has less then 10k miles on it. It has a 700 R 4 transmission with a 331 posi rear end. Engine and tranny all run and shift great.Tires are great and it comes with an extra 2 studded snow tires also. Paint is only 2 years old and looks fantastic. It was a base coat/ clear coat system with white diamond pearl. has dual side exit cherry bomb exhaust and it sounds fantastic.
Now for the bad. Dash has some cracks, door panels are a little warped, window has a few "stars" in it ( though nothing that obscures your view, it has a few electrical gremlins ( dash lights come and go, a few gauges work intermittently, wipers sometimes move a little bit on their own), the turn signals are not working ( though all other external lights work and the signals did work so its probably something simple) .
All in all its a great cruiser thats usable as is and is ready for car shows. She cruises all day on the highway without any overheating or vibration and is a great car for road trips. Please note that the surf board and sound system in the pictures does not come with the car. I am more then happy to help you find a transporter and load the car.
