Studebaker 1963 Description
1963 Studebaker Daytona Wagonaire with slide back rear roof.
This is a very restorable California Studebaker wagon. Has its original black California plates from 1963. Has a V8. Title in hand with plates registered on the title. In a "non-op" status here in Southern California.
Car was in storage for years. We put a battery in it and an electric fuel pump and gas and drove it up on the trailer. Engine sounded good. No knocks or smoke. Brakes are pumped up. Very complete wagon with trim and wheel covers. V8 model, uto transmission. The wagon has that great slide back rear roof section. The car is rather solid except the rear lower fenders and tailgate. Very common as although this is a California car with no road rot, hat rear sliding roof always leaked really bad on these wagons. The water flowed down and blew out the fender behind the rear wheels and sat in the tailgate. See the pics. Some pinholes in the front floor from moisture under the rubber mat, ee pic. But rather solid most other places as you can see. Good start. Has a rose color original paint and interior. Has the vanity glove box with mirror and make-up kit area.I suppose a good mech could get it running and with tires, rive it as is, ut this wagon does need a full restoration to make it great.
Sold as-is please for this kind of money NO RESERVE
Make sure this is the wagon you want, o regrets or complaints later. Can't go wrong at this price-point.
