Willys 1945 Description
If you've been looking for a nice rust free civilian jeep, ou've found it. Although I would not restore this jeep, t is perfect for restoration. This is one of the first 300 cj2a built in 1945. The jeep does start and drive very well but I would recommend that it be looked at by a shop before turning it into a daily driver since it's been sitting for many years in storage. The brakes need do be done. If I pump them they do stop the jeep but they need attention. The jeep is very solid a straight with a little rust only in the tool box under the passenger seat. I collect only WWII military jeeps and this was my first cj2a purchased so I'm not very familiar with them. Also included is the original pto, rive shaft and rear output. If you have a nice WWII jeep to trade I would be interested in trading up or down. I also collect rare WWII jeep accessories such as capstan winch, 1 compressor etc. and manuals so I would consider that kind of stuff as partial trade as well. The jeep is sold as is so I recommend that all interested parties come see the jeep in person for inspection to make sure it is what he or she is looking for. Good luck!
