Stuff to know about this Jeep.
It is being sold AS IS. This Jeep is my primary trail rig and thus the body, uspension and tires have the miscellaneous rock rash that you'd expect from a rig that actually crawls through rocks and over boulders, ut I don't abuse it. The 4WD all works. The crawl ratio is really low, bout 100:1; great for the trails, ut not so great for the street. It's not suitable for highway driving. The 5.38 gears keep it from hitting highway speeds without winding out. The good news is you could easily fit bigger tires under the trimmed rear wheel wells and flat front fenders and that would lower your street rpms some. Still -- it's a trail rig and it rides like one. If you need a vehicle to hop on the highway and take you to work every day, r even to the trail -- this isn't the one.
Car hauler trailer:I have a 16' dual axle 7,000 lb trailer I use for taking this Jeep to the trails. I can sell it with the Jeep if someone wants it, ut I won't sell the trailer before I sell the Jeep. This trailer has flipped leaf springs for better clearance in the dirt and out my driveway; electric brakes, 2" wide wood deck and upgraded to 15" wheels with Load Range E trailer tires, pare tire, eavy duty ramps, ockable ramp storage, inch, ockable storage boxes. If you want to buy this with the Jeep, t will be cheaper than what I'd sell it for separately, ust for less hassle. Check it out when you look at the Jeep. This trailer is $3500 new at Ronco Trailers without the spare tire or storage.
Parts is Parts
I've accumulated a fair amount of Willys/Jeep parts and I will throw them in with the deal.
• Full set of front and rear spare Scout 2 axle shafts (no housings, ust the shafts).
• Set of 4 steel wheels that exactly match the five wheels on the Willys. These could be ready to go matching spares if you damage one or use them on your matching off road trailer.
• Extra CJ3B hood; rusty, ut pretty straight. Other small odds & ends.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as vehicle is for sale locally with with possible trades as listed in the local ad.
