Willys 1953 Description

I have for sale a 1953 Willy's Jeep Wagon. It is in very good condition and has 63740 miles. It runs and drives great and has the original 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed transmission. It is a 4 wheel drive that all works correctly and the tires are almost new. The spare tire has never been used. This Wagon was sold new in Indiana where it received a driver restoration in 2008 by it's original owner. I even have the original Willys Jeep key ring "Willys Sales and Service, arion Airport phone number 96." It is painted the original color of Woodstock Green. It has a driver quality paint job and is ideal and will be great for a local cruise-in, arade, ocal car show, r excellent to drive to the club or just have a Sunday afternoon drive with the kids/grandkids. It is not a perfect trailer queen as it does have the normal nicks and wear that you can expect from a wagon that has been driven the last 8 years since the restoration was completed. It has been converted to 12 volt and starts good. The odometer/speedometer along with the add on amp and temp gauges work good. The seats are gray vinyl and look good. and the floors with the wood slats look good. It does not have a headliner in it at this time. There is no rust holes anywhere and is a very solid wagon. It does have a new gas tank, hocks, nd battery. Limited restoration work has been done on the bottom side but it is easy to see this Willy"s has lived and very pampered life. The lights, urn Signals, nd brakes lights work. The wipers have been converted to electric for better driving in the rain. I do have maintance records and lots of receipt of previous restoration work performed. I welcome any one to come and drive it before the auction ends. I reserve the right to end the auction early as I do have it for sale local. Will be sold as is where is. I will be glad to work with any transport company. I have a clean North Carolina title in my name. A $500 deposit is due within 24 hours of auction end. Contact me for payment of remainting balance which is due within 7 days of auction end. If you have any questions or concerns contact me before bidding.
