Willys 1954 Description

Up for auction, a 1954 Willys military radio jeep.
Body shows evidence that heavy radios and batteries were mounted in the back. Extra support brackets are in the wheel wells, antenna mounting holes are in the corner, and power cables are present.
Suspension has rare rear coil helper springs, making jeep sit higher.
Body needs attention in the front floors mostly due to rust, and the dings in the sides.Frame has surface rust all over, but does not appear compromised. Springs In rear need replacing, As the clips have given up and the leaves separated. May be possible to just get new clips...
Engine was recently rebuilt and has no miles on it...expensive
Original 24v electicals and waterproof distributor, starter, and carburetor. Army Fuel tank holds fuel and no rust out. Need a good cleaning out, maybe liner?
Overall a good, original jeep to restore, or use as is with paint, minor electrical work, brake checkup, and seat cushions. At my low reserve, you can part it out and just use the engine in your restoration!
Sold as is, please email questions. Pickup only, clear title.....I have extra parts available, thanks...
