I am selling this for an older friend of mine. He's owned it since 1991.
This is the later model '50 which came with the pointed '51 fenders, hood, and grille.
He started the body on restoration in Riverside, California back in 1991.
Since the restoration, he's only put 300 miles on it!
Anyhow, it was his wifes toy, and she has passed, and he no longer wants it around, so he's asked me to sell it.
Here are some of the features:Complete paint and bodywork. Base coat, clear coat (2 stage) paint, wet sanded, and buffed to a mirror shine. The pictures dont really do it justice, but it's a very red color, and has a deep reflection. Some of the pictures make it look pinkish, or salmon. Well, it's not, it's a beautiful red, similar to Corvette red.The engine is the 4 cylinder with overhead valves, completely rebuilt, less than 300 miles ago. Transmission was rebuilt by the previous owner, all new clutch kit complete. This Willys has the 3 speed with a working overdrive.All chrome was re-done, bumpers, trim, dash pieces, grille, etc.Complete new interior, seats, visors, door panels, carpeting, etc. White seats with black everywhere else. No rips, tears, or stains.New top, all new plastic windows.New brakes, steering box rebuilt, 12 volt, 1 wire alternator conversion. All lights, and gauges work.
